Few birds but lots of rain....

Only 3 birds were banded from Saturday-Monday as rain kept us to just one-hour of mistnetting. That being said there were very few birds to capture anyway! New arrivals included Bank Swallow and Horned Lark.

We did manage to band 17 birds today which included the season's first Brown Thrasher and several Myrtle Warblers. A brief survey of the baselands produced more birds including 2 Northern Waterthrush, 1 "Western" Palm Warbler and 2 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

All for now-
